In COBEG tournaments, every match performance is crucial, whether you’re securing wins or nailing key individual stats. Every match, goal and special achievement brings you closer to the top!
Let’s break down exactly how points are calculated for each player and how these contribute to your seasonal and overall ranking.

Match Points

These points focus on your performance within each match.

  • Match Wins: 10 points for each win.
  • Match Draws: 3 points for each draw.
  • Match Losses: -5 points for each loss.
  • Goals Scored: 1 point for each goal scored.
  • Goals Conceded: -1 point for each goal conceded.
  • Man of the Match (MOTM): 2 points for each MOTM award.
  • Clean Sheets (CS): 1 points for each clean sheet.
  • Hat-Trick: 1 points for each hat-trick scored.
  • Double Hat-Trick: 2 points for each double hat-trick scored.
  • Top Performance: 5 points for each 10 or more goal scored.
  • Unbeaten Streak: 5 points for each active unbeaten streak. 

Voluntary & Reward

These rewards recognize special individual efforts and contributions.

  • Officials: +1 point for the involvement of officials in the match.

Official Points count only in the Seasonal Ranking.

Rank Difference Booster

Wning team-up and solo matches will give you extra rank points based on the rank difference between you and your opponent.

Example:

• Your rank: 1000

• Opponent rank: 1

➝ Rank difference: 1000 → +5 bonus points on win.

Bigger gap = bigger bonus. But max 50 points per match.

⚠️ This bonus applies only to winners of team-up matches. No effect on losers or draw results.

Seasonal Match Value (Weighting)

To keep rankings competitive and relevant, match points are weighted by season:

  1. eFootball 2026: 100% value
  2. eFootball 2025: 80% value
  3. eFootball 2024: 60% value
  4. eFootball 2023: 40% Value
  5. All Previous Seasons: 20% value

Weighing count only in the Overall Ranking.

Seasonal Rank (Current Season)

Seasonal rank includes booster effects. Players who play at least four matches in the previous week receive a Seasonal Booster, determined by their win percentage from that week. A very high win rate (above 90%) gives a 150% boost, while anything above 80% gives a 120% boost. Average performance (above 50%) keeps the points normal. A low win rate of 50 or below reduces points by 10%, and win rate of 40 or other lower ranges result in a 20% points reduction.
